On Thursday mornings this fall, the Farmers Market runs on Main St. at The District at Green Valley Ranch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It keeps that slot on most Thursdays between now and mid-December. The District's events calendar lists the market every Thursday in October through Oct. 29, again Nov. 5 through Nov. 19, and again Dec. 3 through Dec. 17.
That Thursday market is the clearest example of how the season at The District is built. Most of the calendar is a repeating weekly schedule, with each type of event tied to its own day. The big dates, like the Halloween party, the tree lighting and the holiday markets, sit on top of that schedule. If you live a few minutes away in Green Valley Ranch, you can plan most of the next ten weeks by weekday. You only need to check the calendar for the handful of days that break the pattern.
The weekly schedule
As of mid-October, The District's published calendar for October through December breaks down like this:
| Day | What runs | Time | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tuesday | FIT4MOM Stroller Strides | 9 to 10 a.m. | The District |
| Tuesday | Trivia Tuesdays | 7 p.m. | The Oak Room |
| Thursday | FIT4MOM Stroller Strides | 9 to 10 a.m. | The District |
| Thursday | Farmers Market | 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. | Main St. |
| Saturday | Markets, movies and seasonal events | Varies | The Green and Main St. |
| Sunday | Fitness on The Green | 10 to 11 a.m. | The Green |
Stroller Strides is listed for every Tuesday and Thursday, plus other weekly sessions on the calendar, all month in October, November and December. Trivia Tuesdays at The Oak Room started Aug. 4 and are scheduled through Dec. 29. The District describes them as team play with food, drinks and prizes. The Oak Room is at 2235 Village Walk Drive, Suite 147. The District's directory calls it a grill and entertainment venue with dining, gaming and craft cocktails. Everyday.Vegas reviewed it in a February 2026 dinner feature that mentioned the cheeseburger eggrolls, fish and chips, and chicken parmesan.
Sunday mornings rotate through local fitness studios. Pure Barre leads the Nov. 1 session on The Green and EoS Fitness leads on Nov. 15, both from 10 to 11 a.m. One of the October sessions was led by [solidcore], one of The District's newer tenants. Shopping Center Business reported in January 2026 that Solidcore and California Closets had opened there the previous December. So the Sunday sessions also work as an introduction to studios that sit a short walk from The Green.
Saturday carries the season
Tuesdays and Thursdays repeat almost every week, with one exception at Thanksgiving. Saturday is the one day that changes every week, and almost every major event between now and Christmas falls on it.
The next one is Saturday, Oct. 24, when Movies on The Green shows "Practical Magic" from 5 to 9:30 p.m. The following Saturday is Halloween. Monster Mash on Main St. runs from 4 to 7 p.m. with trick-or-treating, live music, Halloween entertainment and a costume contest. The 4 p.m. start means families can trick-or-treat at The District and still get home before dark to do their own street.
In November and December, Saturdays mostly mean markets:
- The Makers Hive Market is on Main St. on Nov. 14 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., then again Nov. 28 and Dec. 19.
- The Annual Tree Lighting is Nov. 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. on Main Street, with snowfall, live holiday music, local makers, and Santa lighting the tree.
- The Second Time Around Vintage Market is Dec. 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Market in the Alley is Dec. 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on The Green.
Market in the Alley is the only exception to the Saturday rule. Its November date, Nov. 8, is a Sunday, and it runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on The Green. That makes it the one Sunday in the season with a full market on top of the usual morning workout.
The week the schedule shifts
Thanksgiving is the one week the pattern changes. The Farmers Market listings run through Nov. 19 and pick up again Dec. 3, and no market is listed for Thursday, Nov. 26, which is Thanksgiving Day. Two days later, on Saturday, Nov. 28, the Makers Hive Market comes back for Small Business Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. That week, the local-vendor shopping moves from Thursday to Saturday.
If you shop the Thursday market for holiday baking, plan around that gap. The last market before Thanksgiving is Thursday, Nov. 19.
The dates that don't follow the pattern
A few events are listed outside the weekly schedule. Most land on days that already have something going on.
- Lashes, Coffee & Convo: Financially Fit, Friday, Oct. 30, hosted by The Lash Lounge Henderson as a morning of coffee and conversation.
- The Light the World Giving Machines, back from Nov. 12 through Jan. 1. They are up every day of the season, not tied to any one day.
- Full Moon Yoga, Tuesday, Nov. 24, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., the same evening as trivia at The Oak Room.
- The American Red Cross Blood Drive, Tuesday, Dec. 1, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., listed through Whole Foods Market.
- Toys for Tots: Fill The Truck, Thursday, Dec. 10, 5 to 7 p.m. That puts a toy drop-off in the evening of a day that already has the Farmers Market in the morning.
The calendar pages carry no publish dates and get updated over time, so check the events page the week of any event before you go.
Next door, the changes take months
Next to The District, Green Valley Ranch Resort is changing on a much slower timeline. Its updates are measured in quarters, not weekends.
The food court has two new counters this year. Nielsen's Frozen Custard opened May 22, 2026, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Irv's Burgers took over the former Fatburger space and was open by mid-July, as News 3 reported. The resort's address is 2300 Paseo Verde Parkway.
The larger projects are still underway. Station Casinos announced a phased remodel of the Regal Green Valley Ranch theater in November 2025, with recliner seating, better sound and projection, expanded concessions, and a craft-beverage bar and lounge. The theater was set to stay open during construction, with work expected to finish in mid-2026. The theater is still showing movies this month. Its remodel is part of the resort's $200 million property-wide renovation. As of the resort's late-September update, the renovation of the remaining 294 East Tower rooms and suites and the South Rotunda lobby has begun and is still listed as "slated to debut in 2026." In May, the resort opened its redesigned 69,000-square-foot meeting space, which includes a 5,000-square-foot outdoor venue called The Lawn, according to the Review-Journal.
Davidson Real Estate Group follows the details of daily life in Green Valley Ranch as closely as the market itself, from market days to which resort projects are actually finished.
