The Del Webb Resident's Guide to a Summer Week at the Village

The Del Webb Resident's Guide to a Summer Week at the Village

For Del Webb at Lake Las Vegas residents, the most useful way to approach the Village in summer is not to ask what can fill an entire day. A better question is which part of the day fits each activity.

That distinction matters in July. The strongest daytime heat often falls between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., according to the Southern Nevada Health District. A workable Village routine puts movement and water recreation early, uses the middle of the day for indoor stops, and saves concerts and markets for the evening or cooler morning hours.

The Village at Lake Las Vegas summer events calendar supports that approach. As of July 15, 2026, the remaining schedule includes an evening artisan market, Saturday waterfront concerts, Sunday morning Pilates, a farmers market, and a local art program. The week becomes easier to plan when those events are treated as anchors rather than isolated outings.

The practical summer pattern: Reserve mornings for activity, keep midday flexible and mostly indoors, and build social plans around the Village’s scheduled evening and weekend events.

Begin with the calendar anchors

The official Lake Las Vegas event calendar changes throughout the season, so dates and times should be checked before leaving home. The schedule below was confirmed as of July 15, 2026.

Date Village event Time
Wednesday, July 15 Artisan Night Market with live music at the gazebo 7 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday, July 15 Perfect Paws Pet Fashion Show 8 p.m.
Saturday, July 18 Los Platanos, Latin jazz-funk 7 to 10 p.m.
Sunday, July 19 Reset at the Lake Pilates on the grass field 7:45 a.m.
Sunday, July 19 Farmers Market and Stars on the Lake, featuring 16 artists 9 a.m. to noon
Saturday, July 25 Rock 702, variety hits 7 to 10 p.m.

This schedule creates three useful types of Village days: a weeknight market, a Saturday concert night, and a Sunday morning that combines movement, shopping, and art. The open days between them can remain flexible.

Wednesday: Make the market the destination

The Artisan Night Market on July 15 runs from 7 to 9 p.m., with live music scheduled at the gazebo. The Perfect Paws Pet Fashion Show begins at 8 p.m.

This is a good evening to keep the plan simple. Arrive for the market, walk through the artisan displays, and choose dinner or a casual stop based on the pace of the evening. The current Village restaurant directory includes Sonrisa Grill, The Pub, Luna Rossa, A&M Pasta Lab, De Remo, BellaLinda, Seasons Grocery, The Speakeasy, and Mimi & Coco Bistro.

The mix allows residents to adjust without leaving the Village. The Pub fits a casual evening. Sonrisa Grill offers Mexican cuisine, while Luna Rossa and A&M Pasta Lab provide Italian options. Mimi & Coco Bistro works for a longer waterfront meal. BellaLinda gives the evening an easy final stop for gelato.

Pets are welcome at the listed July Village events, and the Wednesday schedule is specifically connected to The Perfect Paws. Rules can vary for separately organized or ticketed programs, so confirm the policy before bringing a pet to anything outside the main Village calendar.

Thursday and Friday: Leave room for a shorter visit

A resident’s week does not need a formal event every night. The open space between Wednesday’s market and Saturday’s concert is useful for a quieter morning or a practical Village stop.

Seasons Grocery is particularly suited to this role. Its published hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The store lists Peet’s coffee, local pastries, fresh produce, meats and cheeses, grab-and-go sandwiches and salads, household products, wine and specialty beverages, and Red Button Vintage Ice Cream. Indoor and outdoor waterfront seating gives residents the option to stay briefly or pause before the day becomes hotter.

The broader tenant mix also includes The UPS Store, MaidenLane, Anthony & Taylor, Timeless Moments Events, Lake Las Vegas Golf Carts, and Lake Las Vegas Water Sports. Services listed at the Village include Once Upon a Nail Salon, Pariz Hair Salon, and La Belle Peau Med Spa.

The point is not to turn every stop into an outing. It is to combine an errand, coffee, or meal with a short waterfront visit when the timing works.

Saturday: Choose your view of the concert

Saturday night is the clearest recurring event window. The Village’s standing schedule lists live concerts on Saturdays from 7 to 10 p.m., although the monthly calendar should be checked for the current performer.

On July 18, Los Platanos is scheduled to bring Latin jazz-funk to the waterfront stage from 7 to 10 p.m. Rock 702 follows on July 25 with variety hits during the same time window.

For July 18, residents also have a separately organized option through Lake Las Vegas Water Sports. An ages-18-plus Pilates on the Dock program lists a 6:50 p.m. check-in and a 7 p.m. start. Participants can add paddleboarding during the Los Platanos concert for $20, subject to space and operating conditions. Because the program is separate from the main Village concert, availability should be confirmed in advance.

For a traditional concert evening, plan dinner before or during the performance and use the Hilton parking garage. The July event flyer lists garage parking as free. Outside food, beverages, and coolers are not permitted, so a packed picnic is not the right plan for these events.

Sunday: Use the morning as one continuous itinerary

Sunday, July 19 has the most complete sequence on the current calendar.

Reset at the Lake Pilates begins on the grass field at 7:45 a.m. The Farmers Market and Stars on the Lake follow from 9 a.m. to noon. Stars on the Lake is scheduled to feature 16 artists.

That timing allows residents to begin with movement and continue directly into the market and art program. It also keeps most of the itinerary earlier than the 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. period that the Southern Nevada Health District identifies as the hottest part of many extreme-heat days.

A sensible plan would be:

  1. Arrive prepared for the 7:45 a.m. Pilates session.
  2. Move into the market and art program at 9 a.m.
  3. Pick up coffee, breakfast, or a grab-and-go item at Seasons Grocery or consider De Remo for a morning meal.
  4. Finish before the strongest afternoon heat rather than stretching the visit unnecessarily.

This is also where the Del Webb and Village schedules can complement each other. Del Webb’s published examples include daily Sunrise Pickleball, weekly restorative yoga, chair yoga, mahjong, and Hawaiian Aqua Fit. Biweekly activities include Mexican Train, Scopa, and Canasta, while trivia and wine-and-cheese events are listed as monthly activities.

Residents do not need to choose between community programming and Village events. The more practical approach is to use Del Webb activities as the base schedule, then add a market, concert, meal, or water outing when it fits.

Fit water recreation into the coolest workable window

Lake Las Vegas Water Sports operates from the Village at 20 Costa Di Lago. Its current offerings include kayaks, paddleboards, giant paddleboards, electric boats, and e-foils.

Published starting prices include:

  • One-hour kayak or paddleboard rental from $40
  • Two-hour kayak or paddleboard rental from $60
  • Two-hour electric boat rental from $199

These prices and operating conditions are subject to change. Reservations, availability, and weather conditions should be checked before arrival.

In summer, the timing of a rental matters as much as the type of equipment. An early session leaves room for coffee or breakfast afterward and avoids building the day around the hottest hours. Wear lightweight clothing suitable for the activity, use sunscreen, carry water, and take breaks in the shade. Anyone with individual health concerns should follow guidance from a qualified medical professional.

Match the restaurant to the plan

The Village dining list is most useful when treated as a set of practical pairings:

  • Early or casual stop: De Remo or Seasons Grocery
  • Italian meal: Luna Rossa or A&M Pasta Lab
  • Mexican cuisine: Sonrisa Grill
  • Casual concert-night option: The Pub
  • Longer waterfront meal: Mimi & Coco Bistro
  • Dessert after an evening walk: BellaLinda

Exact restaurant hours can change and are not consistent across every Lake Las Vegas web page. Check directly with the business before planning around a specific opening or closing time, especially on an event night.

Know the event rules before leaving Del Webb

A few details prevent avoidable changes of plan:

  • Use the Hilton parking garage for the listed July events. The official flyer says parking is free.
  • Do not bring outside food, beverages, or coolers into the Village event area.
  • Cover up when moving from water activities into the Village’s restaurants, shops, and public areas.
  • Pets are welcomed at the listed July events, but separately organized activities may have different rules.
  • Recheck performers, start times, and outdoor programs on the official calendar. Weather and organizer decisions can affect the schedule.

A better summer week is built in smaller pieces

The Village does not need to fill every hour to be useful to a Del Webb resident. Its value comes from having several different pieces close together: an early paddle, a practical stop at Seasons Grocery, a Wednesday market, a Saturday concert, or a Sunday morning that combines Pilates with local artists and vendors.

Start with the fixed event. Choose the coolest reasonable time for anything active. Add one meal or errand, then leave the rest of the day open. That is the clearest way to make the Village part of a regular summer week rather than treating every visit as a special occasion.
