For years, the running joke among Inspirada residents has been that the community was built faster than anyone remembered to build a grocery store. With roughly 5,875 people living in the neighborhood and only an Albertsons within easy reach, the retail math has been off since the first phase of homes went in. That gap is now closing on a public timeline, and the map of daily errands in Inspirada in mid-2026 already looks different than it did last summer.
This is not a "coming soon" post. Ground has broken, ribbons have been cut, and a few of the changes are already open to walk into.
The retail gap, finally quantified
The clearest sign that Inspirada's commercial catch-up is real came on February 26, 2026, when Sansone Companies held a ceremonial groundbreaking for Centurion, a 24-acre horizontal mixed-use development at the intersection of Via Centro and Via Inspirada. The head of development at the firm was direct about the reason.
